Hi guys-

Some GO-bama (get it?) supporter came to my door today. She was a young African American girl with multiple Obama pins on her over sized Obama shirt. I'm only going to repeat the best part and here it is!

Kyle- Hi

Girl- Hi, Are you a Democrat?

Kyle- Yeah, don't worry I'm voting for Obama.

Girl- Great, How would you like to donate $25,000 , $10,000 or $5,000 dollars to the democratic Party?

Kyle- Ugh. . . I'm 23, Rent a Apartment and I'm saving up for Paramedic School. I don't think i can. I'm sorry.

Girl- Ok, Well you will get a recite for your donation. How about $1,000 dollars?

Can someone please explain to me what happened to me earlier today? Maybe she thought I was Olympic swimmer with 8 freaking gold medals. Who knows but it cut out time from Planet of the Apes. Thanks lady, Mr. and Mrs. Obama would be pissed right now if I told them what you did to me.

Oh hey guys. . .

(not important)
Today when I was leaving UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Lance Armstrong was checking in. I saw him in Room N3. Now if you have never been there it's Room number 3 on the North side of the E.R. Oh you know I was 4 maybe 5 feet away from him. No biggie! We can thank the 21 year old who smoked a lot of pot before driving his P.O.S. BMW into 2 other cars on Santa Monica Blvd. Without you buddy I would of never seen Mr. Armstrong at the Hospital. On another note I still find myself scratching my head that two people turned into one huge piece of shit!

(some-what important)
Time for more important news, I won 100 dollars cash money last Sunday for taking 2nd!( Screw the Lance thing lets move onto where this is going. . . . . ) If I win one more race i start racing semi-pro's, nuts! super excited! I have races on both Saturday and Sunday for the next 2 weeks and I'm going up north for the last 2 races! So If you are looking to play Wii at my house its not going to happen. Also, I'm excited that Amara is back in town, you ma'gurl.

Question for you:
What is the best concert/band/show/whatever/etc. you have seen to date?

Holy crap.

Texas Man Kills Cyclist, Injures Others in Drunk Driving Nightmare in Mexico

Just 15 minutes in, the third annual Matamoros-Bagdad Cycling Tour in Mexico plunged into chaos when a drunk driver from Texas smashed head-on into the group of riders.

Brownsville resident Juan "Jesse" Campos, who had spent the prior evening partying with booze and cocaine, fell asleep while driving between the towns of Playa Bagdad and Matamoros near the US-Mexico border.

The cyclists had just started making their way along the opposite side of the highway on the 34km race when, tragically, Campos' 1989 Grand Marquis veered off onto the wrong side of the road and slammed into the center of the peloton.

A photographer documenting the race managed to record the moment immediately after the collision: it's a scene of utter carnage, with bodies and equipment thrown into the air.

Campos claims to have no recollection of the crash, and insists that he woke up only afterwards. He's now being held in a Mexican jail while authorities attempt to sort out the case.

30-year-old Brownsville cyclist Alejandro Alvarez was killed in the accident, while ten other riders were seriously injured.

Hello,

Good evening world, Today my partner and I went to Santa Monica and worked up there for a change. I have never been to that city and for the most part it was really nice. The paramedics there are a lot cooler then in Torrance. They will let you do way more things to the patient. So after running six 911 calls we posted on Ocean Ave. We had about a 1 hour down time until we got a call for a full arrest and responded code 3 (thats with lights and sirens). In route we were confronted by a female transient on Arizona and 5th St. This lady began to walk straight towards us yelling "fuck you" and giving us the middle finger, let me remind you that WE ARE IN A AMBULANCE RESPONDING TO A FULL ARREST, THIS MEANS SOMEONE IS HAVING A HEART ATTACK. We are now dead stop with this crazy lady pounding on our hood yelling, she then proceeds to walk to my side (I lock my door) and spits at me. Good thing i had my window up. Once she was not blocking us we got out of there and proceeded to our destination just to have Santa Monica Fire tell us that the patient was a DBR (death beyond resuscitation), Just another day. I also want to tell you guys that my girlfriend is extremely beautiful and she is almost into her nursing program.

Be safe out there.

Dumb bitch (aka claim adjuster) told me that AAA was going to pay 75% of all my bills and damages. I came back saying that on page 24 of the DMV drivers manual that a motor vehicle can not pass a cyclist and turn in front of him/her. It is called squeezing bye and its against the law. I said a few more words and she came back with "ok, how about $X,XXX amount for the damage to your bike and to your body and up to $X,XXX to pay your medical bill... sounds good to me. Im not going to tell everyone how much i got from this but i will be buying my road bike and a few goodies for it tomorrow morning! hell yes!

Enjoy!

so bummed on the rips in the rolls saddle!

I just got home from a short yet fun rock climbing trip at Joshua Tree and for some reason I'm in the mood to write about my life. I love my room mate, the shit head makes a mess when I'm gone and drinks a little to much but man, hes a trooper. School is going really well. If all my plans work out I should be working for Gerber Ambulance or Long Beach Fire as a EMT this summer, which is something that I've been trying so hard to get at and I'm finally so close. I think about 1 week ago Kenny and I went on a day hike to Sheep Mountain which is only little under 2 hours away. The hike was just under 10 miles round trip i believe but we ended up finding the perfect swimming hole that looks amazing for summer trips. I cant wait to take a small group down there. I just this is all i feel like talking about. enjoy.

PS- the nights are better when you stay here.

fuck it I'm going to complain!

I'm fucking brain dead due to the fact I've been studying assessments on medical and trauma patients. I started at 9am this morning and the only break i have had was to take a written test from 6:00pm till 7:20ish. really, I'm tired and might die. If i do, everyone is still invited to our get together on Saturday night, but obviously ... i wont be here.

wait...why am i a little bitch right now?

Damn son, im hella mega tired.

Everyday is either work, school or a distance ride. its getting old because I feel im doing the samething every 7 days, 4 weeks a month but yet im happy with it all. This is gonna be my last Semester at school which im really happy about. Then this summer im going to work for a ambulance company. I test with Long Beach Fire Department tomorrow and im extremely happy with that. Last night in class we were learning how to set ET tubes (endotracheal tubes) and Combi Tubes and my teacher and a few students were talking about OD on drugs and signs and symptoms, then it was followed by what are the most common found drugs in a few cities. Randomly when i was setting a Combi tube in a Dummy my Teacher says "have you done drugs kyle?" ...WTF... now before this randomly while he was talking to our small class he looks at me and says "kyle, are you alright?" and i replied "ugh, yes." it was kinda awkward. now, Yesterday before school i worked at 4am - 9:30am doing some moving/organizing in the backroom then when i got home i rode to PCH and the 55 in Newport and fuck that head wind the whole way back. so i get home eat take a quick 2hr nap and the ride to the PCC campus and there was still that fucking head wind so fuck you. i show up to class tired and sweaty. whatever. why i explained this is cuase im was dead tired right when class started, i guess i even looked like shit to my teacher so therefor he had to ask. back to the "have done drugs kyle?" it might of looked like i was on drugs but what the hell but still. what the hell. so i told him no, ive never taken any drugs and the mother fucker starts naming every illegal drug in the world and im still in the process of setting the Combi Tube. Obviously i answer no to all the drugs and a few douche bags are saying "what man, you havent tired _____" so once the Combi tube was set and i was done and i kinda walked away from the awkward moment. 10 minutes later the other Teacher asked "hey kyle, whats up?" me: "tired, really tired" teacher: "are you alright?" me: "ugh yah im fine. its just been a long day". now i have been approached by both my teachers. i can sum up yesterday night in class by awkwardness and the fact that i look like im on drugs. im happy with the looking like im on drugs. zing!

ps- not to blow my own horn but i did get a 87% on my last test and class average was 80%. yah, 4th highest test score in the class. KISS MY ASS DRUG LORDS!
